Turtle (Honu)
The Hawaiian Sea Turtles symbolize long life and good luck. Roaming slowly along the shorelines of the Hawaiian islands are the peaceful sea turtles. Many Hawaiian sea turtles live to be over 150 years old, symbolizing longevity. Known as Honu in Hawaiian, the green sea turtles were believed to be guides for the first voyagers to Hawaii.
